June 14. The invididual in question Mr. Ariunbayar gave an interview to today's "Udriin Sonin" daily newspaper:

Mr. Ariunbayar was indeed detained in Gants Khudag Detention Center Last week but the judge's decision to detain him was quickly dismissed by a higher court judge, according to his interview. He says the decision to detain him was a mistake and does not know if it was politically motivated and declined to give details.

He said he doesn't know if the matter was connected to rumors his boss, head of Mineral Resources Authority is to be changed.
