UPDATE: Turquoise Hill Chairman, New U.S. Ambassador to Make First Public Appearances in Mongolia at NAMBC Investors Conference
- Attendance is capped at 100 to promote real dialogue, powerpoints are banned– and there are only 8 seats still available. Registrants are coming from the US, Canada, South Korea and Mongolia, including several new-to-Mongolia companies;
- THR Chair Jill Gardiner will speak on September 30, her only public appearance in Ulaanbaatar
- Three senior USG officials are coming from Washington to speak at the conference: Terry McCartin, Deputy Assistant US Trade Representative, who coordinates TIFA talks and the bilateral Transparency Agreement; Scott Tatlock, Executive Director for China & Mongolia, US Commerce Department; and Zhen Gong-Cross, Head of Mongolian Affairs, US Commerce Department
