DP declares victory for Elbegdorj, Elbegdorj with 50.2% as of 3am, GEC to announce pre-results in morning

June 27 (Cover Mongolia) – PM Altankhuyag has declared victory for Elbegdorj saying he received 53% of votes as of 1am. GEC has scheduled a press conference at 9am, with DP already announcing a victory rally at Sukhbaatar Square at 11am.

A GEC press conference held after 3am, has announced that Elbegdorj has 50.2% of reported results so far as of 3am, with MPP’s Bat-Erdene with 41.5%, and MPRP’s Udval with 6.5%.
