Hunnu: Major Coking Coal Project Acquisition

May 23, Hunnu Coal Limited (ASX:HUN) --

HIGHLIGHTS

Ø  Acquisition of Rio Tinto Minerals Development Limited’s 70% interest in Altai Nuurs Coal JV Project located in Gobi Altai Province of south western Mongolia.

Ø  Preliminary test work indicates a premium hard coking coal fraction with the following average parameters:

o    Moisture (%ad): 1.6%

o    Ash (%ad): 10.7%

o    Volatile matter: 18%

o    Calorific value (Kcal/kg ad): 7,460

o    CSN: 8.5

o    Total Sulphur (%ad): 0.48

o    Phosphorous (%ad): 0.017

o    Alkalinity Index: 0.56

o    Coke strength Ratio: +70

Ø  Exploration Target* based on drilling, coal test work and wire frame modelling of between 250Mt and 500Mt. Hunnu Coal will commence JORC modelling at once.
